The idea of LearnWithBarney.co.uk came from our daughter begining infant school and having to read simple words. I have a speach problem so some words are tricky to say at the best of times but when you trying to teach a child the problem can be multiplied. I decided to deploy my computer skills and use the computer to say the words. This developed into a simple game which I demonstrated to the teachers at North Baddesley Infant School. They were altering the way simple everyday words were taught, the new method was named weekly words. A new version of the was developed that is designed to work along side the weekly words. The game is designed to be fun but educational and can be used in the classroom or at home.

The application has one game but it is hoped that others will be added overtime.
